Convene and City Cruises Set Sail for Strategic Partnership

Meeting & event space provider and dining cruise & private charter company form partnership

In a move to elevate the corporate event experience, Convene, a leading provider of premium meeting spaces, and City Cruises, a dining and private event cruise operator, have announced a new cross-referral partnership.

The collaboration caters to the growing demand for experiential events. As Phoenix Porcelli, Head of Sales at Convene, highlights, “companies are prioritizing experiences over traditional offerings.” This partnership allows Convene to offer clients a more comprehensive package, including the option to add unique elements like dining cruises or private charters facilitated by City Cruises.

The partnership offers a win-win situation for both companies. Convene clients gain access to discounted cruise experiences, while City Cruises can connect with new clients seeking alternative meeting venues through referrals from Convene’s sales team. To access these benefits, a referral from their respective sales contact at either company is required.

“We’re excited to redefine what corporate events can be,” says Kimi Holloway of City Cruises U.S. “By combining City Cruises’ unforgettable experiences with Convene’s innovative meeting spaces, we can create truly bespoke events for each client.”

The partnership kicks off in six key U.S. markets: New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Boston, and San Francisco. With Convene’s extensive network and City Cruises’ exciting offerings, corporate clients now have a powerful tool to create lasting impressions and engage their employees and guests.
