Hilton Revamps Its EventReady Playbook

The rebooted resource hub arms planners with smarter tools, deeper insights, and more inclusive strategies

Hilton is doubling down on its commitment to empower planners with the reintroduction of its enhanced EventReady Playbook. Recognizing a renewed appetite for in-person connections – a trend underscored by Hilton’s recent “Meetings Maximizer” report indicating that a significant 87% of attendees are likely to travel for work-related events in the coming year – the hospitality giant is providing a suite of updated tools and resources to help organizers craft impactful and memorable experiences.

The EventReady Playbook (accessible online) isn’t a new concept, but Hilton is strategically revamping the platform to address the evolving needs of today’s meeting professionals. The latest iteration focuses on streamlining the planning process and providing deeper insights into Hilton’s extensive global portfolio.

A Smarter, More Streamlined Toolkit

At the heart of the revamp is a new Brand Finder Tool, allowing planners to compare up to four Hilton brands side by side. With 24 brands across its global portfolio—from Conrad to Canopy to Curio Collection—the tool simplifies the search for the right vibe, scale, and service level, especially for planners juggling multi-market RFPs or new destination searches.

Meanwhile, a newly consolidated Knowledge Hub surfaces industry news, trends, and case studies, offering inspiration and real-world takeaways that go beyond venue specs and AV layouts.

For example, planners can dig into content on hybrid strategies, attendee engagement trends, or environmental best practices—an acknowledgment that today’s professionals wear more hats than ever before, from DEI facilitator to wellness consultant.

Programs Designed With Planners in Mind

The Playbook also centralizes information on Hilton’s incentive and loyalty programs tailored to meetings:

The Hilton Honors Event Planner Program allows professionals to earn points on qualifying events.
The Hilton Incentive Collaborative highlights cross-property opportunities for planners managing series or multi-region events.
And Meet With Purpose, Hilton’s sustainable meetings framework, remains a pillar offering customizable options to reduce waste, promote wellness, and support local communities.

Inclusion in Action

Another standout feature is the integration of the World’s Most Welcoming Events playbook, launched earlier this year. This resource is designed to help planners create age-inclusive, accessible, and culturally sensitive event environments—an increasingly non-negotiable priority for global organizations and forward-thinking associations.

Whether it’s quiet zones for neurodivergent attendees, non-alcoholic networking options, or inclusive signage and communication strategies, Hilton positions the playbook as a practical guide to meeting the expectations of today’s diverse attendees.
