Cvent Doubles Down on 3D Event Tech

Cvent’s latest acquisition of spatial design innovator signals a bold move into immersive 3D event planning

Event management firm Cvent has acquired Prismm, a leading provider of spatial event design technology. This acquisition underscores the growing demand for intuitive, collaborative tools in the meetings and events industry.

Prismm, formerly known as Allseated, has established itself as a pioneer in immersive 3D event diagramming. Its platform enables event planners, venues, and vendors to collaborate within virtual environments, designing detailed event spaces that enhance the planning process. Serving over 5,500 clients, including hotels and event venues, Prismm’s technology facilitates the creation of dynamic, visually engaging layouts that can be customized in real-time.

“In today’s digital-first landscape, online collaboration is mission critical to get business done,” said Jim Abramson, Cvent’s Vice President of Product Management. “Given our expansive global network of more than 145,000 planners and nearly 340,000 hotels and venues across our Cvent ecosystem, we understand what time-strapped event professionals and resource-constrained hoteliers need to deliver bigger and better events.”
