Convene Debuts Event Space Expansion

Convene 101 Park Avenue adds mezzanine level to accommodate growing demand for 200-person meetings and events

Convene, a global hospitality company that designs and manages premium meeting, event, and flexible office space, celebrates its newly expanded venue at 101 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan.  The expansion is in direct response to growing demand for professional meetings and events up to 200 guests; it adds a second floor to the location and grows the venue’s footprint to 23,800 square-feet.

Connected by a grand staircase, the new mezzanine level offers a large conference hall with full theatrical lighting that can accommodate up to 223 guests and an open gallery for networking and food breaks inclusive of an unlimited snack and beverage bar and cafe seating to enjoy meals prepared by one of Convene’s Executive Chefs.  The mezzanine features floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the neutrally-designed space with plenty of natural light.

Across its portfolio of nearly 40 locations, Convene has witnessed a 58% increase in demand for meetings and events of up to 200 guests; since announcing the expansion of Convene 101 Park Avenue, this venue alone has received a 47% increase in interest for programs of this size.
